All the Major Superiors who have been elected for the first time for this important service are in Rome, meeting with the General Congregation and the Delegates of Fr. General. It is a formative meeting in which, in addition to sharing the experience of each one as major superior, we will address several important training topics.

The first reflection focused on “the keys that the Order needs today from the Major Superiors”, and the basis was a document presented by Fr. General.

The second day addressed two important themes: the renewal of community life and the accompaniment of adult-young religious. This second day was closed with a dialogue with the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Fr. Arturo Sosa, and the Superior General of the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa, Sr. Carmen Sammut, Presidents of the Unions of General Superiors Men and Women.

Other topics worked in these days are the following: the study of the Directory of Economy and the relations between the Provinces and the General Curia, the challenge of the integral sustainability of the demarcations, the formation of superiors, etc.
