During the 31st of August, 1st and 2nd September the coordinating team of “Pious School Going forth” has met in Rome to evaluate the meeting of R.D. Congo (Kikonka) this summer and to schedule the itinerary of this school year.
On the first day, they shared with Fr. General the experience of this summer and the evaluations of the young Piarists who participated. The testimonies of the participants and the sharing of the team have served to confirm the depth of the experience lived and the good availability of young people to embrace the meaning of being “Piarist going forth”. They have also appreciated the success with the chosen place, Kikonka in Congo, and the welcome and work of the Piarist community at the service of experience.
The team is programming the development of the itinerary of this school year which will consist, above all, of the accompaniment of the different groups – living community – where “on-line” they will continue to reflect and train on the central themes of this experience. There will also be several moments of more personal accompaniment.
The team is also reflecting on the design of the next “going forth” moment which will be an insertion time in a Piarist missionary presence.
