On January 5, in the City of Puebla, Mexico, a mass was celebrated with the four missionaries who are about to travel to Guatemala to initiate the Piarist presence in that country.

Within the limits allowed by the pandemic, there was significant participation of other religious, members of the Fraternity, family, and friends.

During the Mass, a letter from Father General was read in which he invited them to reflect on this phrase from the Constitutions of San José de Calasanz:

“If our Work is carried out with due care, there is no doubt that the insistent requests for the foundation will continue in numerous states, cities, and towns, as has been verified up to the present.”

He thanked them for their availability, asked them to carry out this work with care, and highlighted the style of the community that has been configured. All this with a firm exhortation to build an authentic Piarist presence.
