The young people of the Piarist presences from all over Poland participated in a great New Year’s Eve party. The meeting took place from December 28 to January 1st at the school in Poznan. Participants took advantage of the possibility of visiting the oldest part of the city, i.e. the cathedral, the town hall, the Royal Castle and the Imperial Castle, the cemetery of the insurrection of Greater Poland and other more significant monuments of Poznan.
It was a spectacular time to share joy and faith. There was a concert by the band called Hustle&Bustle, a time of prayer animated by another band called Amos and supported in this case by the same participants, time for matches in very fun sports disciplines, etc. A phenomenal opportunity to spend our free time, say goodbye to the Old Year and at the same time welcome the coming year.
The main protagonist of most of the activities was, of course, dancing. The boys and girls could participate in a rock ‘n’ roll workshop, learn other dances from different corners of the world with Polish dances and especially the “Polonez” which is the traditional dance to start each party.
A special greeting from Poland and prosperous New Year.
