On December 28, 2018, Feast of the Holy Innocents, Nguyen Anh Tuan, of Vietnamese origin, incardinated in the Viceprovince of Japan-Philippines and student in Rome, has made his profession solemn in the hands of Fr. General. Fr. Pedro Aguado presided over the celebration, in which they were Piarists belonging to 16 different nationalities, from 4 of the communities of Rome. Piarist and Calasanctian Sisters, and a few friends of Tuan present in Rome attended also to the celebrations. During the Mass, organized by the Piarists of the Calasanctianum, the community of Tuan, the Magnificat was sung in Vietnamese: very probably the first time that this language was heard in our venerated church.
The mass, which began at 12, was followed a fraternal banquet in which the normal food was followed by the typical Christmas candies. We wish Tuan to preserve and increase the joy that he showed today.
