We begin the version of the meeting of the religious in preparation for the solemn vows. On July 21, we spent the whole day visiting Getafe, where we found ourselves in fraternity with the community of the Escolapios Fathers and the community of the Calasanitari Sisters of Getafe.  The one who united us was Father Faustino, who was recently canonized.  With the joy that characterizes the brothers, they explained to us and brought us closer to the heart and soul of Father Faustino.

Some echoes of what most impressed the young group of Piarists is the humility and simplicity of the saint.  As well as his strong commitment to God that led him to prophesy the daily life of children with his life.

Another aspect that moved the hearts of the 33 young people from different latitudes of the Order and the four continents in which the Piarist Fathers are present was the centrality of Jesus and Mary in both founders: Calasanz and Míguez.  Both examples of incarnation of Mary’s fidelity to God’s plan in them.  For this reason, Mary is not a devotion but a constituent element of the Piarist spirituality.

Finally, we want to tell our school children, religious and lay brothers that the work of Calasanz is also being built in our lives.  Through this visit to the places of Calasanzian, we join with joy and hope each of the members of our beloved Order and we pray together so that the providence of God will make us walk the paths of holiness, in the key of  the mission and the generous delivery.  Many thanks to the entire Piarist Order for making this opportunity possible on our vocational journey.
