We continue with the Calasanctian Route. On this second day we start from Peralta de la Sal to Lérida, in which we visited its University, whose paths Calasanz traveled as a student
From there we headed to Balaguer, where we visited the cathedral. This locality is important to us Piarists because it is here where Saint Joseph Calasanz received his tonsure.
Finally, we visited Guissona. Here we met the place where Fr. Melchor Alacchi tried to make the first Piarist foundation in Catalonia. Now it belongs to a congregation of religious women, who lent us a space to share our reflections during this journey along the Calasanctian Route.
In the sharing that I have mentioned, we have put in common what we have meditated on our pilgrimage through the Calasanctian places. After listening to several of the brothers, we realize that the life of Saint Joseph Calasanz conveys a message in which each one feels invited to seek the will of God from the context in which he lives his ministry.
