On Saturday 19 October, the Province was filled with great joy when our brother Juliao de Oliveira Amaral da Silva from East Timor made his solemn vows.<\/p>\n

The ceremony took place in the chapel of the Calasanz Residence in Madrid, in the presence of a large number of religious brothers from the various communities of our Province. Juliao offered his life before the Lord in the Eucharist, presided over by the Provincial of Betania, Fr Jorge Iv\u00e1n Ruiz Cortizo.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Piarist religious present, members of the Fraternity, catechists and friends of the Calasanz School of Salamanca and Getafe were also present, as well as many of Juliao’s friends.<\/p>\n

May the Lord continue to be the centre of his life, in the midst of so many children and young people who are waiting for the bread of education and the Gospel to be shared with them.<\/p>\n

Congratulations, dear Giuliao! May your devotion to the Lord be protected and guided under the mantle of Mary, Queen of Pious Schools, and through the intercession of our Holy Founder, St Joseph Calasanz.<\/p>\n
