On 17\u201319 September in Vienna, the meeting of the Major Superiors of Europe took place. All the Provincials of the eight European Demarcations participated: Italy, Bethany, Emmaus, Catalonia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. Present were Father General Carles Gil i Sager and Fr Jacek Wolan, General Assistant for Europe. The participants expressed great gratitude for the fraternal welcome of Fr Zsolt Labanch, and of the Piarist religious and laity of the works in Vienna.<\/p>\n

The aim of the meeting was not only to gather and work, but also to live together, to share life and to strengthen fraternal bonds, essential for our common mission in Europe. There was time to share news from the Provinces; to deepen the syntheses and fruits of the European Days held this year in February in Barcelona; and to reflect on networks, synergies and collaborations among the works at the European level. Fr Zsolt and the educational team of Maria Treu showed us the school and the beautiful, historic parish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
