With hearts filled with gratitude and praise, we, the Piarist Fathers, thank the Almighty God for the gift of two new priests to our Congregation. On 6th December, Deacon Ashik Abel and Deacon Sebastian John were raised to the sacred priesthood through the laying on of hands and prayer of His Excellency Rev. Dr. James Raphael Anaparambil at St. Andrew\u2019s Basilica, Arthunkal, Alappuzha.<\/p>\n

This blessed celebration was made even more meaningful by the prayerful presence of many Piarist Fathers and Brothers, along with religious and diocesan priests, sisters, and a large gathering of faithful laity. Together, we rejoiced in God\u2019s saving love and praised Him for His marvellous work in calling and consecrating these servants for His altar.<\/p>\n

We entrust the newly ordained priests to the loving care of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the maternal protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, praying that their priestly ministry may always be fruitful, holy, and filled with zeal for God\u2019s people.<\/p>\n
