Truly, in truth, I say unto you: he is no more the servant than his master is, nor the envoy more than the one who sends him. Knowing this, you will be blissful if you do it<\/em> (Jn 13:16-17)<\/p>\n

On November 30, the solemn profession of the religious Jean Luc Bruno Thiabo of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and Jumkwa Peter Mbuwir of the Love of God was celebrated with great joy in the Brazil-Bolivia Province.<\/p>\n

Coming from the Provinces of West Africa and Central Africa, the religious arrived in Brazil in 2017, to continue their formation. They provided the Piarist presence of Belo Horizonte with their pastoral work and services for the benefit of children and young people.<\/p>\n

After the initial period of formation in the Pious Schools, knowing and deepening in the constitutions, community life and evangelical counsels, the religious, wanting to follow Jesus Christ more closely, expressed their consecration to God on the way to Calasanz, in love and service to the small and poor, not for a certain time, but forever.<\/p>\n

The profession took place in the Community of Santa Mar\u00eda Goretti of the Piarist San Marcos Parish in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) and was presided over by Fr. Provincial, Javier Aguirregabiria. The celebration, which was animated by the Piarist Youth, was attended by many parishioners, fraternity members and Piarist religious from other presences in Brazil.<\/p>\n

We ask that God may bless and accompany the religious, Jean Luc and Peter, in their consecration through the Pious Schools for children, adolescents and young people, especially the poorest, for the glory of God and the usefulness of others.<\/p>\n
