“As a great family, Lord, today we come to You, listen to the cry of your people, listen to their voice. (…) You gather us around the table, you are with us, bring to the Father our prayer, Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Brazilian-Bolivian province celebrated with joy the profession of vows by Brothers Wilson and H\u00e9ctor Siles, in Cochabamba on 22 February, in front of the presence of the Piarists, religious and lay, of the province. Brother Wilson made his solemn vows while Hector made his first profession of vows in the Order, received by the Provincial Father, Javier Aguirregabiria, who presided over the Eucharist, celebrated by Piarists from both countries and by Bishop Carlos Curiel, auxiliary Bishop of Cochabamba.<\/p>\n

The liturgy, led by the young people of the Calasanz Movement, led us to reflect on the love that unites us and encourages us to live the vocation, explained in the dialogue between Jesus and Peter. Wilson and Hector, through this Profession of Vows, responded to Christ’s call to be disciples, affirming their commitment to life and the Piarist mission, inherited from our holy father, St. Joseph Calasanz.<\/p>\n

We thank God for the gift of the life of our brothers and for all those who were present in the celebration, testifying to the affection and tenderness for the Piarist life.<\/p>\n
