50 years ago (on May 16, 1970), the Piarist father Lajos Di\u00f3szegi, who is also a teacher in our house in Kecskem\u00e9t, was ordained a priest. During his long career, he served as a Piarist in Budapest and Kecskem\u00e9t. He graduated as a professor of Biology and Chemistry, but during his teaching career, he also taught Singing, Art History and Religion. For more than two decades, he was also involved as a chaplain in the work of the Piarist Parish of the Holy Trinity of Kecskem\u00e9t. As a retired pastor, he is still present in the pastoral care of the school, celebrates student masses and can be found as a confessor in the penitential liturgies of the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of his anniversary mass, our brother was congratulated on behalf of the Archdiocese of Kalocsa-Kecskem\u00e9t by Father Diocesan Vicar and parish priest of the Great Church Dr. J\u00f3zsef Finta. The festive homily was given by the parish priest L\u00e1szl\u00f3 G\u00f6rbe<\/span><\/a> Sch. P.<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the times of pandemic, the Mass of the Golden Weddings was celebrated with a small group of people, but we will also congratulate him in public on August 25, at the feast of Saint Joseph Calasanz.<\/p>\n
