Saturday, September 17, 2022, was a day full of joy and meaning for the Pious Schools of West Africa. It was the occasion for the eight young men, five of whom were Congolese, one Beninese and two Senegalese, to express their “Yes” to Piarist community life in the parish of Saint Theresa of Sokone in the hands of Fathers Christian Djinamoto Ehemba, Provincial of the West African Pious Schools and Pierre Diatta, Vicar of the Vicariate of Congo.<\/p>\n

During this Eucharistic celebration, the assembly witnessed the commitment of the brothers: Christian, Renoland, Bravie, Glody, Jur\u00e8s, Destin, Exauc\u00e9 and Paterne who took the vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and the education of children in a situation of poverty, and those freely and without constraint.<\/p>\n

At the end of the celebration, it was time to share a meal in fraternity and conviviality.<\/p>\n

At the same time, we are aware of the demands that religious life implies, and we are obliged to carry them in our prayers so that the Lord may complete in them what he has begun so well.<\/p>\n
