The Pious Schools in Savona and Finale Ligure from 1600 to the present. The majestic celebration of 400 years of the Pious Schools, educational presence and work, in Savona and Finale Ligure opened. On Friday, Oct. 21, the 1st International Congress on the Christian Popular School was celebrated with emotion and nostalgia in the Red Room of the Savona City Hall with diverse talks of high cultural and historical value and depth. Speakers in addition to civil and religious authorities were Prof Simona Negruzzo, Prof Paolo Calcagno who expounded on the theme of Education in 1600-1700. Prof Marco Roncalli spoke with an interesting report on the Educational and Current Proposal of Calasanz and Prof Alberto Tanturri told us about the pedagogical proposal of the Calasanz school. Then Dr. Clavarino Alessandro spoke, who gave an overview- excursus of the presence of the Pious Schools in Liguria and followed by the presence and testimonies of our house with Father General and Father Provincial Sergio Sereni. On Saturday, October 22, there was the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Bishop of Savona Mgr Calogero Marino concelebrated by the fathers: Father General, who gave the homily, and Fathers Sereni, Barani, Springhetti, Father Andrea and the assistant general for Europe Carles Gil. Campanassa brethren and many alumni of the said Association from Savona and Finale Ligure were present. During this Calasanctian Year there will be the Anniversary Celebration Student Day and Educational Activities for teachers and students with school-work alternation and several conferences in the area with Calasanctian themes. There will be no shortage of publishing events and reprints of publications on the Pious Schools in Savona and Finale. In the new year there will also be screenings of fragments of school life in the famous Brandale Tower. Also, during this year there will be in Finale at the Hotel Institute some educational and formative activities animated by the teachers and Father Andrea as well as the preparation of a Calasanz-themed food tasting evening! It will conclude in the coming year 2023 in November with the presentation of awards to schools, pupils, and personalities who during the year have distinguished themselves in highlighting and underlying the educational work of Calasanz!<\/p>\n
