The Calasanz Movement is a project that is born and finds its path and destination in the Order of the Pious Schools. It is an inspiration of the spirit that offers an authentic life plan with clear accompaniment and vocational outflow, from the most tender childhood to adulthood. We are the Calasanz Movement.

Last Friday, 16 February, in our Province of Mexico, we experienced the seventh Meeting of the Calasanz Movement, which brought together 305 Piarist hearts united by a single and authentic reason: the ideal of Saint Joseph Calasanz “to “take care of the little ones”. The little ones become great among the great, the great become small among the small, barriers are broken, the kingdom of God is transformed and life is generated.

The special aim was to reactivate this meeting in the context of the solemn vows of Brother Ángel Díaz Rosas, thus demonstrating with humility the vocational commitment of our Pious School: happy children, adolescents and young people, a team of coordinators and counsellors who are blessed because they are collaborators of truth, religious who bear witness to being the closest to Calasanz among us, a fraternity that enjoys its option, a network of volunteers from Itaka Escolapios that strives to create spaces of education for all. This meeting was experienced with enthusiasm, joy and hope. We are grateful for our presence in Oaxaca, for the Carlos Gracida Institute, which welcomed us with an open heart.

May the Calasanz Movement be a life process for all those who want to live it, accept it with docility in their hearts and commit themselves in freedom to share the treasure they have found. Let us go for more. See you again soon. May our greetings echo throughout the earth: from those of the world, always friends!
