The 5th Advisory Council of the Itaka Escolapios Network comes to an end
The morning began with a prayer prepared by the Executive Committee. The two morning sessions were dedicated to a new time of work in groups followed by sharing in plenary, this time with the aim of proposing concrete steps forward in the Network for the upcoming courses.
The groups reflected on how to move forward in the two lines of the Strategic Plan 2021-2027 “towards a common Piarist subject” and “to grow in the common Piarist mission”, and put forward proposals for the organisation of the Network and demarcations, internal communication, between the different Piarist realities and towards society… as well as numerous initiatives and activities that could be implemented. It will be the task of the coming months to concretise the actions.
The first afternoon session was organised, for the first time in this Advisory Council, by demarcations to evaluate the work of these three days, put it in the context of the respective realities and define the next steps in each demarcation.
After the exchange, a draft of the final letter that emerged from this Advisory Council addressed to the Itaka-Escolapios Network and to all Pious Schools. Based on the contributions from the plenary, the Executive Committee will draft the final version of the final letter of the Advisory Council, which will be distributed in the coming days.
The day ended with the Eucharist, presided over by Fr Juan Alfonso Sierra.
