The province of Central Africa was happy to celebrate on Saturday 18th May the Priestly ordination of six Piarists namely: SOFI Mathias, Sch. P., DZODJOU Hermann Fabrice, Sch. P., ANGO Jean Cédric, Sch. P., TENE FONKOUFrank Thierry, Sch. P., TANTOH Kevin AZONG, Sch. P., and NKENGAFAH Francis EBESOH, Sch. P. The celebration took place at Our Lady of Nazareth Parish Bafia, by the laying of hands of Mgr. Emmanuel DASSI YOUFANG, Bishop of Bafia in the presence of Father Pedro AGUADO CUESTA, Sch. P, the General Superior of the Order. His presence and words of encouragement were for us and most especially for the newly ordained, an occasion to renew our zeal for the mission and at the same time to double our efforts and means in building up the Pious Schools, following the paths of Saint Joseph Calasanz.
We pray for the newly ordained priests, and entrust their vocations in God’s hands. We also remind ourselves on the holy mission we receive from God, the sanctification of souls through piety and learning, in line with the three central themes of the last General Chapter, that of the Centrality of Christ, the Pious Schools Going Forth and the Piarist we need. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Pious Schools, and Saint Joseph Calasanz intercede for us always.
