The Order has taken on the accompaniment of young adult religious through the sectoralised canonical visitation of Father General in all the demarcations. This time, Father Pedro Aguado promoted this accompaniment through a retreat with the friars in Argentina.

The retreat lasted three days, from 9 to 11 October. Fr. Suresh, Bro. Sebastian, Fr Joaquín, Fr Andrés, Fr Federico, Fr David, Fr Pablo and Fr Gonzalo, were accompanied by Fr. Pedro Aguado, and Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez. The Provincial Fr. Sergio Conci, were also present at some of the activities.

Fr. Pedro Aguado began by creating an atmosphere of prayer, dialogue and discernment through the synodal method of listening to the Spirit. In this atmosphere, the brothers prayed, shared, examined and celebrated. This experience continues – it does not end – with the plan to accompany the growth of young adults in the demarcations.

Father General then continued his sectoral visit from 11 to 14 October, visiting and speaking with each of the young people in initial formation. This is the conclusion of a beautiful fraternal visit and a time of mutual learning. The culture of accompaniment in the Order continues.
