Last August, in the diocese of Kupang (on the island of Timor), we founded a branch of the community in Yogyakarta dedicated to formation. This new step will help to consolidate the formation processes necessary to strengthen and expand our presence in Indonesia and East Timor.
This new foundation is accompanied by a gift from God, because on 22 November our brother Bonefasius Amadoren, currently formator of aspirants in Atambua, was ordained a priest.
Aspirants, young novices and members of the communities of Atambua and Kupang as well as Piarist Sisters were able to take part in this ordination. We experienced this day with great joy in the conviction that this priestly ordination is a blessing from God and a further step in the development of schools of piety in Timor and Indonesia.
