The first canonical visitation in the Provinces of the Order in this six-year period is coming to an end. The aim of this canonical visitation is to accompany exclusively the houses of initial formation of the Order before the novitiate, the novitiate and the juniorate, as well as the young adults and the Demarcational Congregations in their leadership of the Piarist mission.
From 6 to 12 December, the Province of Mexico received Father General Pedro Aguado, who spent time with the novices: Henry and Ernesto (from the USA-PR Province). The juniors: Guillermo Rodarte, Oscar Osbaldo, Isaías, Sebastián, Julen, Isaac Rabin, Alejandro, José Luis and Justino Abdiel. As well as to the prenovices: Erick Barragan, Erick Silva and Jareth. He also met with each of the instructors: Guillermo Corchi, Baltazar Santillan and Pablo Alvarado.
A retreat for young adults was held at the Juniorate of the Mexican Province, with the participation of Fr Carlos Arturo, Fr Daniel, Fr Baltazar, Fr Otilio, Fr Martín Hernández and Fr Pedro Aguado, with the support of Fr Julio Alberto Álvarez, the Assistant General for America.
The visit culminated in a visit to the Provincial Congregation, where the challenges and joys of the Province were presented, as well as the projects carried out by the Congregation in the Mexican Piarist presence. After an intense accompaniment and dedication during these days, Fr Pedro Aguado confirmed the friars in the faith and encouraged them to continue the tireless service of sowing the Kingdom of God and his justice.
