On 30th April 2025, the Camillian Father Pastoral Centre in Bangalore became the sacred setting for a spiritually enriching event—a retreat for Indian Priest Piarist Fathers, which culminated in the simple profession of Br. Immanuel.

The retreat offered a time of prayer, reflection, and fraternity, strengthening the spiritual bonds among the Indian Piarist priests. It was a moment to renew their missionary zeal and deepen their commitment to the charism of the Pious Schools.

The culmination of this spiritual journey was the simple profession of Br. Immanuel, held during a solemn Mass celebrated by Fr. Stalin Nasianse, Vice Provincial of the Piarist Fathers. The atmosphere was reverent and joyful as the community gathered to witness this significant step in Br. Immanuel’s religious life.

Fr. Jobi, the Novice Master, called the candidate forward, formally presenting him for profession. The vows were received by the Fr. General Pedro Aguado himself, whose presence added great meaning to the occasion. He also delivered the homily, filled with wisdom and encouragement, reminding all present of the beauty and demands of the consecrated life.

Br. Immanuel, in the presence of the gathered Piarist community, professed his simple vows, committing himself to the Piarist mission of “Piety and Letters.” His commitment was warmly received with prayers, blessings, and fraternal joy.

The celebration was enriched by the presence of all the juniors from Bangalore, who joined in full spirit, adding youthful vibrancy to the occasion.

This profession marked not just a personal milestone for Br. Immanuel, but also a hopeful sign of growth and continuity for the Piarist presence in India.
