The General Congregation, now headed by Fr. Carles Gil i Saguer as Superior General, has appointed Fr. Jacek as Assistant General for the European circumscription. Father Jacek Wolan has until now held the position of Provincial Assistant Provincial Assistant in Poland. As of today, he assumes his new responsibilities in the General Congregation until the celebration of the next General Chapter.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Province of Poland and to Fr. Jacek for his availability and generosity in accepting this new ministry. We wish him all the best in his service to the Order.
Jacek Wolan was born in Przemyśl, Poland. He is 43 years old and has been a religious for 21 years and a priest for 15 years. He has carried out his ministry in Piarist schools and parishes in Krakow and Warsaw. In recent years, he has carried out his Piarist mission at the school in Krakow. He has collaborated with the Parafiada Association for almost 20 years. Since 2019, he has been Provincial Assistant with responsibility for Youth Ministry and Provincial Communication. He has been a member of the child protection system in the Church in his country. He is part of the “Youth and Pious Schools” General Team of the Order.
