On 29 July 2025, at the headquarters of Vatican Radio, Fr. Carles Gil, Sch. P., Father General of the Pious Schools, met with the Prefect of the Dicastery, Dr Paolo Ruffini, the Deputy Director of the Editorial Office, Dr Massimiliano Menichetti, and the Editor-in-Chief of L’Osservatore Romano, Prof. Andrea Monda. During the meeting, Fr. Carles Gil i Saguer introduced Jon Calleja as the editor of the Revista de Pastoral Juvenil (RPJ) with the aim of establishing ties of mutual collaboration. This collaboration will not only be at the level of the Pastoral Magazine, which offers a service of accompaniment to youth ministry in the Church and in the Order of the Pious Schools through youth group leaders and monitors, but also between the Order of the Pious Schools and the Order of the Pious Schools through the Order’s Communication Office.
This meeting was also attended by Fr. Ion Aranguren and Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez. We are especially grateful to Dr. Lucas Luzon Soto, head of the Pastoral Theology Department, for bringing us closer to the reality of communication that the Dicastery develops on a daily basis.
