On 22 and 23 November, the Order of the Pious Schools, and in a particular way the Province of Argentina, experienced days of special joy. Within the celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, Diego Correa of Jesus Emmanuel, Sch. P., made his Solemn Profession and, on the following day, was ordained deacon in the parish of Saint Joseph Calasanz, in the city of Buenos Aires.
Both celebrations were lived in a climate of deep gratitude, in the context of the Jubilee Year that is about to conclude, as a sign of God’s fidelity and of hope for the Church. Providentially, the 48 young people taking part in the final meeting of the Mentor School, held on the premises of Calasanz School, were also present at these events and were able to be living witnesses of the fruit of a vocational journey walked with perseverance and faith.
We give thanks to God for the life and vocation of Diego, and we ask the Lord to sustain him in this new stage of his diaconal service, for the glory of God and the good of the whole Church.
