On 16 January 2026, the solemn profession of Emmanuel Keno of Saint Joseph Calasanz took place in Atambua, in the presence of the Father Provincial, Fr Iván Ruiz Cortizo. The Piarists from Kupang also travelled for the occasion.
The celebration was attended by a large number of family members, as well as members of neighbouring religious communities and many other friends. The boys from the asrama animated the liturgy with their singing, contributing to an atmosphere of joy and thanksgiving.
With this celebration, Fr Iván brought his visit to the community of Atambua to a close. During the visit he was able to meet with the three members of the community, the five novices and the six aspirants, as well as with the members of the lay group. The visit now continues in Kupang and will conclude in Yogyakarta.
