At the Piarist Schools of Mexico, we have experienced, with deep gratitude to our good Father God, the recent General Canonical Visitation to our circumscription carried out by Fr. Carles Gil i Saguer, Superior General, and by Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez, General Assistant for the Americas.
These were days to open our hearts and share our journey as a province, continuing to ask the Holy Spirit to keep guiding us in our service and in our faithful and generous dedication to children, adolescents and young people.
On Saturday, February 14, at the Carlos Pereyra Institute in Puebla, all of us—religious and lay people—who work together for the Kingdom of God in the light of the Piarist charism, gathered, where we shared our life and our work with the Father General. We presented to Fr. Carles our reality through the following secretariats:
- Participation Secretariat.
- Calasanz Movement Secretariat.
- Management, Projects and Sustainability Secretariat.
- Provincial Fraternity Council.
- Itaka Escolapios México.
- Hogares Calasanz.
- Initial and Ongoing Formation Secretariat.
- Vocations Ministry Secretariat.
- Safeguarding of Minors Department.
- Pastoral Processes Secretariat.
- Parishes Secretariat.
- Pedagogy Secretariat.
After the presentations, we celebrated the Eucharist presided over by our Superior General Carles Gil, who encouraged us, like the seventy-two disciples, to follow our Lord Jesus together and with passion in our life as Piarists, religious and lay people.
At the end, we shared a fraternal meal and then returned to our presences.
