The community dependent on Father General, Madre de Dios, in Madrid, held its local chapter from 24-26 January 2023, with the participation of the whole community, Fathers Aniano López, Antonio Martínez, Félix Pascual and José Víctor Orón. It was presided over by their rector, Fr Antonio Martínez, and they were accompanied by Fr Carles Gil (Assistant General).
The chapter took place in a very fraternal atmosphere. It is a community dependent on Father General, so it has no elective part. Instead, it focuses on the aspects of the analysis of the reality, with a report of the rector drawn up in the light of the keys to the life of the Order for these six years and planning.
The community ministry is praiseworthy, taking care of the chapel of the Divine Captive, animating some pastoral activities of the Calasanctian College of Madrid, the Piarist Historical Archives, the Piarist Missions Procure, the ICCE, the reception of brothers…
