During the 15th, 16th and 17th of February, the Going Forth – On the Way Out Team of the Order met in Rome.
They took up the work with which the first going forth experience, the Kikonka Generation in 2019, was prepared and updated based on the documents, mandate and vision generated at the last General Chapter.
During these days, they reflected on the culture of going forth as an invitation of Pope Francis for the life of the Church and of our Order and the possibilities it offers to our lives and ministries.
They developed the objectives for the six years and planned the realisation of the second experience for this year in Daloa (Ivory Coast). They also had an online connection with all the participants in the first Kikonka experience, to whom Father General addressed a few words from the United States.
They will continue their work in coordination with the different secretariats and teams of the Order to extend this transversal line of outreach, with which they wish to be faithful to our origins and attentive to the current reality.
