During the Provincial Chapter, the confreres elected Fr. Samson Djitabo EHEMBA as Provincial Superior, he is 45 years old. Fr. Samson was born in Oussouye, Senegal, on March 9, 1978.
The newly elected Provincial professed his first simple vows in the novitiate of Sokone, in the former Vice-Province of Senegal, on September 21, 2022; and made his solemn profession in Dakar on November 29, 2008; on the other hand, he was ordained priest on July 4, 2009.
Fr. Ehemba completed his ecclesiastical studies in Dakar and Ngoya. He was a member of the scientific commission of the Gravissimum Educationis Foundation. From 2011 to the present, he served the Order as Assistant of the demarcation, and was Rector of the Community of Pères Piaristes Kër Casani in Dakar.
We pray for Fr. Samson EHEMBA that his ministry of leadership and accompaniment of the West African Province will be illuminated by the light of Christ.
