The Chapter of Central Africa began on 25 April in Yaoundé. The Chapter is led and coordinated by Fr General. There are 39 capitulants. At the opening Eucharist, Fr General gave a meditation on St Mark, highlighting three characteristics of the evangeliser: the strong and formative experience of Christ, the attitude of discipleship and the sense of co-responsibility for the Gospel and the building up of the Church.

Fr Alex Djoussé was elected Secretary of the Chapter and Fr Brice Kamga assistant secretary. At the end of the constituent meeting of the Chapter, the Provincial Congregation began the presentation of the various reports on the reality of the Province.
