During the months of July and August, retreats, summer camps, pilgrimages, youth meetings, non-formal education workshops, etc. took place in different parts of the Piarist geography. In Guanabacoa, a large, colourful festival for children and youth was held as part of the fourth ESPLAI, which promotes fun activities to develop shared and meaningful learning through play, art workshops and social interaction. However, this activity has a 25-year tradition of sharing stories and anecdotes about meaningful learning for children and youth.

In this second note about this important activity for children and youth in Cuba, we would like to highlight the important development of the photography workshop led by Enrique, as spectacular coverage of all ESPLAI activities was achieved thanks to the work of all involved. We also thank all the volunteer monitors who led the activities and the Piarist Fathers who accompanied this great community experience, highlighting their diligent participation. The young people of the photography workshop took the photos attached to this note.
