Father Pedro Aguado announced to the entire Order the priority of the General Congregation to carry out a sectoral canonical visitation, focusing on the accompaniment and promotion of the areas of life of initial formation, the phase of life of young adult religious and the governance of the Congregations in the demarcations. These days of visitation in the demarcations began in Nazareth Province from 3 to 10 September 2023.
During these days, Father Pedro Aguado coordinated two days of retreats for the young adult religious with the theme: “Identify with your identity”. During the following two days he had personal talks with the young men in formation at the Pre-Novitiate, Juniorate I and Juniorate II stages. He also met with the Juniorate group, the Pre-Novice group and the respective formators. Finally, the fifth and sixth days were dedicated to accompanying the leadership and development of the Piarist mission of the Provincial Congregation and the local superiors.
On the other hand, Father Pedro Aguado met with the young people who are striving for their vocation and with the young people of the Calasanz Movement. The meetings focused on the integral life of the nuclei of the 48th General Chapter, as well as the keys of inspiration of the Road Map of the General Congregation for these six years. Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez, General Assistant for America, accompanied him on this visit. We place the work and accompaniment of each Brother of the Nazareth Province in God’s hands.
