The Piarist religious of the Provincial Vicariate of the Congo met in Kikonka from 10 to 13 January 2023 for the Vicarial Chapter. There were 10 of them: 9 religious with solemn vows and one religious with simple vows. For two full days, this chapter assembly made a meticulous study of the situation of the communities, the vicariate and its works in the light of the reports prepared at the local chapters and by the Vicarial Congregation.
Then, we had the election of a member for the Provincial Chapter. Also, we worked on examining the proposals presented by the Local Chapters, the Vicarial Congregation and the members of the Chapter. Finally, we discussed the examination of doubtful and challenging questions.
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the sessions of the work of the Chapter of the Vicariate of the Congo took place in a prayerful and fraternal atmosphere.
