During the Provincial Chapter IV the confreres elected Fr. Francisco ANAYA WALKER, 52 years old, as Provincial Superior. Fr. Anaya was born on October 2, 1970 in the city of Puebla, Mexico. He is currently enrolled in the province USA-PR and resides in the house in Miami, Florida.
The new provincial made his solemn profession on Nov. 29, 1997, in Puebla, Mexico, and was ordained to the priesthood on Oct. 6, 2001. He holds a master’s degree in peace education from Albert Einstein University.
P. Anaya served the Order as a teacher, master of the prenovices in Mexico, several times as Assistant Provincial in Mexico as well as General Assistant for America. We pray for Fr. Francisco Anaya that his ministry of leadership and accompaniment of the Province USA-PR will be illuminated by the light of Christ.
