Our Ephemerides Calasanctianae are an exceptionally rich source for both historians of the Pious Schools and curious readers alike. Within them, many Piarists have shared their thoughts, while numerous contributors — some anonymously, others under their own name — have reported the most relevant news from their respective demarcations.

However, this wealth of information can become a dense forest where researchers may easily lose their way or waste considerable time without a proper guide: the indexes, whose regular publication ceased in 1976 (though they still appear at the end of each year, which is something at least).

For this reason, we believe it necessary to continue compiling this valuable tool. The indexes we present here have been prepared with varying degrees of precision, yet with the intention of being genuinely helpful — first and foremost to historians, but also to anyone interested in understanding the development of our Order over recent decades.
