Fr. Pedro Aguado has made a fraternal visit to the Piarist presences of the Province of Central America and the Caribbean in Venezuela. Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez, Assistant General for America, accompanied him during the visit. The main theme of the visit was to share with both religious and lay people the issues related to the implementation of our charism and educational mission both in schools and parishes and in non-formal education in the last three years, as well as the challenges and proposals arising from the last provincial chapter of the demarcation.

On the other hand, Fr. General shared everything related to the promotion of the nuclei and keys to the life of the Order since the 48th General Chapter. There was also time for personal and community dialogues. The Piarist presences in Carora, Barquisimeto-Trompillo, Valencia, Maracaibo, and Caracas welcomed with gratitude the encouragement transmitted in each Eucharist, talks or sharing.

One of the things that we underline about what occupies the soul of the Piarist presences in Venezuela is the purpose of working for the consolidation of a sustained vocational dynamic and the continuous accompaniment of the persons and communities from the internal and external contexts. The Piarist mission is very prolific in favour of the poorest.
