Last May 20 took place in Rome the study day “Glicerio Landriani, an educator in the Rome of the XV century”, organized by the General Archive and the Postulation of the Pious Schools with a double objective: to make known the contribution of Landriani to the birth of the Calasanzian School and to promote the Cause of Canonization.
The study day was attended by professors and scholars from various Italian universities who spoke about the life and work of the young piarist in the context of the emergence and early development of the Order. The words of Father Pedro Aguado concluded by underlining the importance of the figure and work of Landriani in the beginning of the Pious Schools.
