We celebrate the Lord’s Easter in the midst of the Jubilee of Hope. As Christians, we are men and women of hope. We hope because Christ has loved us to the end. We hope because Christ, the Lord, constantly gives us his presence in the Eucharist and forms us into a community of disciples and apostles. We hope because he washes our feet and teaches us to serve our brothers and sisters. We hope because he raises up and sends out witnesses of the Gospel among us.
We hope because he forgives our betrayal, our lack of prayer and commitment. We hope because he accepts our suffering and transforms it into life. We hope because he offers us his forgiveness from the cross. We hope because in the darkest nights, when all seems lost, he brings light into our darkness through his resurrection. We hope because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We hope because He is alive and goes before us.
In these days we celebrate the mysteries that have brought us New Life. We do so with deep gratitude and renewed commitment. From the house of San Pantaleo, where Calasanz started the Pious Schools, we renew our desire to continue building the Calasanz project — a project of hope for so many children, young people and families. The Pious Schools were born to strengthen our hope.
We wish you all the best for these Easter days and may the love of Jesus, the Lord, confirm you in your vocation.
Best regards,
The General Congregations of the Pious Schools
