Yesterday, the General Assembly of the Fraternity elected the new General Council of the Fraternity during a vote in the context of the meetings that are taking place telematically during these days.
The new components of the Council are Ilona Rudka (Fraternity of Poland), Carolina Paredes (Central American and Caribbean Fraternity), Alberto Cantero (Fraternity of Emmaus) and Alfredo Marcos (Fraternity of Bethany). They are joined by Fr. Emmanuel Suarez, as representative of Fr. General.
Carolina Paredes is 53 years old and director of the Liceo San José de Calasanz de Barquisimeto (Venezuela). Ilona Rudka is 46 years old and a Spanish and German teacher at the School in Krakow, Poland. Alberto Cantero is a lay Piarist, 52 years old and is Demarcational Coordinator of Itaka-Escolapios of Emmaus Province. Alfredo Marcos, for his part, belongs to the Province of Bethany, is a professor at the School of Gandía (Valencia) and is 45 years old. Finally, Fr. Emmanuel Suárez is a provincial assistant of Mexico and General Delegate of Participation of the Pious Schools.
