Tomorrow, November 18, the Pious Schools celebrate all the saints of the Order. This celebration commemorates the solemn vows taken by the last religious order approved by the Church (1621) and all those who have been witnesses of life and holiness through the Calasanzian charism.
The 48th General Chapter (Mexico 2022) approved the celebration of a new liturgical memorial in the Order’s own calendar, with the name “All Saints of the Order.” The approval of the Order’s own calendar by the Dicastery for Divine Cult and the Discipline of the Sacraments (Prot. N. 68.24) grants, approves, and introduces this celebration with the degree of obligatory memorial (Prot. S. 288.2024).
The form for the MISSAL and LECTIONARY (ESP, ENG, FR, and IT) can be downloaded. For the Liturgy of the Hours, the forms for November 1 can be used, adding “of the Order,” pending the preparation of the liturgical texts specific to the Memorial.
