On Saturday 14 June, our brother Marek Lehocki Sch.P. received priestly ordination from the Bishop of Nitra, Mons. Viliam Judák. The celebration took place in the Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Emeram, in Nitra.
In his homily, Bishop Judák recalled the beauty and responsibility of the priestly vocation and encouraged the newly ordained with the words: “See, I have engraved your name on the palms of my hands.”
We give thanks for the journey Marek has made so far and we pray for him as he begins this new stage of life as a priest. Marek is now heading to pursue studies in moral philosophy and social ethics at Fordham University in New York, where he will continue preparing to serve as a priest, educator, and teacher for today’s world.
