The Youth Easter is an important activity organised every year in the various Piarist presences in the world and in the Province of Central Africa, to which the Vicariate in Congo belongs.
One of the main points of this celebration is to help young people to experience the powerful moments of the Easter Triduum in order to understand the dynamics of the Resurrection of our Lord. Young people are often unaware of the events of Christ’s passion, death and resurrection. Easter then appears to young people as a light that illuminates our uncertainties.
Another vision of Easter is to prepare the young people of our community to die to their sins and rise to a new life with Christ. It thus becomes an activity of faith growth.
Finally, Easter is so important because it helps each one of us to find our place in the world and especially in the Church. Moreover, it prepares us to attend various training courses and catechesis.
