With great Easter joy, we give thanks to God for the gift of the Pious Schools, which continues to grow in the hearts of many men and women. The Fraternity of the Cooperators of the Truth brings together Catholic young people and adults who support one another in wholeheartedly giving themselves to Jesus Christ, and in drawing young people closer to Him and His Church, under the fatherhood of Saint Joseph Calasanz, in association with his Order.
On the occasion of the feast of the Virgin of the Pious Schools – celebrated in Argentina on 30 May – the fraternities from all our presences gathered to renew their promises before God and the whole community. At the same time, new groups and new members were welcomed into the Piarist fraternities, making their promises for the first time to be faithful to the Lord, following in the footsteps of Saint Joseph Calasanz, striving to be cooperators in the education of children and young people, especially the most in need.
Currently, in Argentina we have twelve fraternity groups across six houses in our Province. After the recent celebration of Our Lady of the Pious Schools, 36 new members were added to the 129 laypeople already involved in the fraternities. It is worth noting the diversity of the groups: four for men, one for women, one for families, and six mixed.
In this special jubilee year, we pray that the fragrance of holiness will continue to fill our hearts lifted by hope, for the greater glory of God and the good of our neighbour.
