On 25 June, in Daloa, Côte d’Ivoire, began the meeting of the Piarists who are carrying out the project of formation of Pious Schools Going Forth in its second edition, after the first project was carried out in Kikonka, Congo. This project will culminate in its first phase on 9 July. After that, there will be various moments of meeting and working together, in a virtual way.
The aim of this project is to live an integral process that deals with everything related to missionary availability and interculturality. It aims to increase availability and missionary capacity, to provide a response to the challenges of our world and to promote the renewal of our way of building community in fraternity and mission. With this project we are also looking for a way to promote the accompaniment of the vocational experience of each member of this project.
Finally, through this integral formation we believe that it can help us, as an Order, to grow in the essential keys of what our Piarist consecrated life should be and a way to promote Piarist presences in new contexts and places.
