On 14 October, during the inaugural session of the 2021-2022 academic year, the Salesian Pontifical University of Rome awarded with the University Medal to Fr. Fiacre Diatta Sch. P., who, having completed the prescribed curriculum on time, obtained the highest mark (Summa cum laude, 30/30).
The award ceremony, says the University, is intended as a symbolic gesture to publicly commend those who have demonstrated with intelligence and commitment that they appreciate science and study as important for life and seek to transform them into wisdom. It is also intended as a gesture of mutual sympathy and an encouragement to new students to commit themselves now and with courage.
Congratulations to Fr. Fiacre for this recognition.
