On 11 February, Marcus Tulio Martins Lourenço made his Simple Profession in the Piarist Order. Together with him, Brother Peterson Thunder, Brother Hector Siles and Brother Jardel Machado renewed their religious consecration for another year. The ceremony was presided over by Father Provincial, Javier Aguirregabiria, who was accompanied by the Piarist religious from Brazil.
The celebration took place in St. Mark’s Parish, in Belo Horizonte, and was attended by members of the Piarist Fraternity, relatives, friends and religious men and women.
During the homily, Fr. Javier highlighted the courage of these young people who decided to give their lives for Jesus and invited them to be faithful to their consecration and to the service of children and young people. Fr Javier also underlined the importance of living one’s consecration to God in the midst of the people.
