We are continuing the work of Fr. General Pedro Aguado in the Sectorial Canonical Visit to the whole Order, with the aim of promoting and accompanying the friars in the stage of initial formation, the young adult Piarists and the leadership of the Demarcational Congregations.
The General had personal meetings with our brothers in formation in Chile: Lebis (pre-novice), Christopher, Johnny and Gabriel (juniors), the formators as well as with Fr. Michel (young adult Piarist). Several meetings were also held with the Piarists of the Demarcational Congregation on the theme: Demarcational Leadership in the spirit of the 48th General Chapter and on initial formation.
On the other hand, Fr. Pedro Aguado met personally with the religious of Chile and with the lay people who share the Calasanz community, met with the children and youth of the Calasanz Movement and with teachers, managers and those responsible for strategic areas of the Demarcation. He blessed a choir in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist. He also coordinated the two meetings with the Fraternities, in which we celebrated the Eucharist and shared a fraternal time of reflection on the present of the Piarist mission in Chile. Fr. Julio Alberto Álvarez Díaz, General Assistant for the Americas, was present at the meetings.
