On 27 June 2024, we virtually gathered the participants of the second edition of the training programme Pious Schools Going Forth, which we usually call Generation Daloa, from all four continents.
This solemn assembly was presided over by Father General Pedro Aguado, who addressed a few words to those present and, as the reader can imagine, they were mainly three: closing words, congratulations and encouragement.
Among his congratulations was an invitation to live and share what he had learnt, to also feel sent in his own mission to live the same reality from a new and fresh perspective, that of Going Forth.
Afterwards, all the participants and the coordinators of the three communities (Glicerio Landriani, Faustino Míguez and Melchiorre Alacchi) that were born during the training in Daloa and that formed the backbone of this year of virtual meetings, took the floor to share with simplicity and sincerity the most important realisations and the changes in their lives and mission. It was a precious moment that we will all remember.
We still need to take care of each other to make this life of walking sustainable in our lives and to be able to pass on our enthusiasm to those who work with us; and so many other meetings and trainings with the Kikonka generation.
