As part of the initiatives of the Young People and Pious Schools team, we seek out various projects and activities across the Piarist geography that help to strengthen youth participation and leadership in our mission.
This time, in the Province of Central America and the Caribbean, a spiritual retreat was held from 7th to 9th February, bringing together the coordinators of the Calasanz Movement in Costa Rica. The retreat focused on the role and profile of the young leader that we aim to cultivate within the Calasanz Movement. Additionally, the young people took the opportunity to organise and coordinate part of the logistical activities planned for 2025.
We give thanks to God and to Calasanz for this community-building experience. Through examples like this, we continue to expand the horizons of youth participation and strengthen their active presence in our Piarist mission.
